The size, shape and balance of a woman’s breasts can drastically affect their self-image. Breasts can symbolise femininity and sexuality, so uneven or small breasts can have a lasting effect on confidence and esteem, but breast enlargement surgery in Turkey provides a solution.
Breast enlargement involves inserting an implant behind the breast tissue using a small incision to craft a more even and fuller breast. Implants have become synonymous with the celebrity lifestyle, however more and more women are turning to breast enlargement as a solution to asymmetry, or to subtly increase their cup size and gain a better self-image. Breasts can change for a number of reasons, including:
- Hormonal And Weight Changes During Pregnancy
- Changes To Breast Volume After Breast Feeding
- Drastic Or Gradual Weight Changes That Affect The Breasts
- Reduced Volume As A Result Of Cancer Or Other Illnesses That Affect The Breasts
These changes can cause women to suffer reduced confidence or difficulty in feeling comfortable in their skin. Alongside wanting to increase cup size, a boob job in Turkey can provide a surgical solution to these issues by using silicone or saline implants in either a round, or tear-drop shape.
Saline implants are filled with a sterilised saline solution and are more easily adjusted and changed to cater to pre-arranged or amended sizing throughout the surgery. They can be filled throughout the procedure too, making them the most flexible choice, offering balanced and accurate results. Additionally, should a saline implant rupture, the solution will be easily dissolved into your body with no ill effects. However, they offer a firmer and less natural feel and may wrinkle over time.
Silicone implants are filled with a soft gel and come pre-filled before your surgery. They are less likely to wrinkle than a saline implant and due to their cohesive nature, offer a more natural look and feel as they move and sit in a similar way to human breast tissue. These can require a larger incision due to their firmer structure but are renowned for the longer-lasting results.
Both types of implants can be offered in both round and teardrop shapes when opting for breast enlargement in Turkey at one of our clinics in Istanbul and Izmir. A discussion with your consultant can help you to determine the right shape and type to suit your desired outcome and your body type, ensuring that you are fully satisfied and confident in the results after your surgery.
Expert Breast Reduction In Turkey
Once the surgery has been carried out, there is a 24/7 aftercare team available for patients in Turkey to help ensure that you are healing properly and not in too much discomfort or pain following the procedure. When you return to your home country, our expert surgeons will provide regular check-ups on your healing process for up to 12 months following the procedure, and regularly be in contact via phone or email to ensure that you are cared for throughout the healing process. One of the main considerations when it comes to breast reduction is the fact that many women are unable to breastfeed after the procedure, due to the location of the cuts and if the nipples are separated from the underlying milk ducts. This should be taken into account when it comes to breast reduction surgery, and this will be covered during your consultation, along with detailed information regarding our breast reduction surgery costs.
Our plastic surgeon is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). He is a Professor with a book on breast surgery and 25 years of surgical experience.
Our hospital is rated A+ by the Turkish Ministry of Health and accredited by JCI representing gold standards in hygiene and quality. We use FDA approved Mentor implants.
We provide dedicated aftercare while in Turkey and after return to home country. We review your pictures every 1-3-6-9-12 months and make recommendations for best results possible.
What Is Involved In A Breast Enlargement In Turkey?
At Longevita, we have years’ of experience in providing breast enlargement surgery in Turkey. This common procedure will be conducted by our ISAPS (International Society Of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) accredited surgeons at our clinics in Istanbul and Izmir, where you will be met by both your allocated plastic surgeon and a dedicated host.
During this meeting, you will discuss the breast enlargement procedure with the doctor, through which you can find out every detail and ask any questions that you may have. Following this, they will examine you ahead of the surgery to better determine the shape, size and type of implant that will be most suitable for you. You will have the opportunity to discuss this and any expectations you have, after which you can choose to pay the remaining balance and sign the forms of consent.
After undergoing a number of simple tests to determine whether you’re medically fit to have the surgery, you will then be put under a general anaesthetic.
The surgery lasts for around two to three hours depending on your requirements, and you will be required to stay overnight following the surgery to ensure that a doctor is on hand to monitor you throughout the night and change any bandages.
Your plastic surgeon will remain on hand throughout the following few days for checks on the second and fourth days, however, you can leave the hospital to rest in your hotel room on the second day. You can also take part in any relaxing activities or opportunities around your hotel and travel around either Istanbul or Izmir, depending on your chosen clinic, to experience the charms of these Turkish cities.
After the fourth day and your visit to the doctor’s private clinic to remove the drainage and change the dressing, you’ll be given a full aftercare plan including medication, what activities you can do and any other advice depending on your case. After this, you can choose to fly home, where you will remain in contact with our doctors throughout the healing process, or stay in Turkey for a few more days to enjoy the break.
If you experience any side effects or the manifestation of any risks once you have returned home, you can get in touch and visit a private clinic in the UK as part of your aftercare treatment. Some of the risks of breast enlargement procedures include:
- Poor Healing
- Changes In Sensation In Your Breasts And Nipples
- Capsular Contracture
- The Leaking Or Rupture Of Your Implant
- Wrinkling Of The Skin On The Breast
- Fluid Build-Up
- Blood Clots
- Deep Vein Thrombosis Or Other Cardiac And Pulmonary Complications
While risks are present, we take every care to ensure that your surgery is conducted expertly and with care. If you have any medical conditions, you must report these to the surgeon ahead of the procedure to ensure that the procedure is safe, and will not affect you or your health in the long-term.

What is Breast Reduction?
Large and sagging breasts may result in pain on the shoulders and neck, backache, skin irritations and painful pressure due to bra straps. Due to their sexual nature, the excessive largeness of the breasts may take too much attention from the opposite sex, causing annoying comments and sexual innuendoes. Such problems might create psychological distress to women who complain about having large and sagging breasts. The emotional discomfort and self-consciousness usually related with having large sagging breasts are significant to many women. Also known as reduction mammoplasty, breast reduction surgery helps achieve a breast size that is proportionate with patient’s body and minimize the discomfort related with overly large breasts. Breast reduction surgery or reduction mammoplasty improves the size and shape of breasts. One of the most received complaints of women with large breasts is that it is very hard to dress fashionably and be active in sports, especially during the summer.
How Breast Reduction is Performed
Breast reduction in Turkey is often performed through cuts on breasts with the removal of the excess fat, glandular tissue and skin. In some cases, liposuction is also used as an excision technique for removing the fat. If fatty tissue is the main factor for overly large breasts then liposuction technique alone might be used for breast reduction surgery.
Patients are given either intravenous sedation or general anaesthesia before surgery. There are three types of incisions possible in breast reduction surgery. The first one is a circular pattern around the areola. The second one is a keyhole shaped incision with a cut around the areola and vertically down to the breast crease. The third one is an inverted T or anchor-shaped incision. The incision lines are visible and permanent however they are hidden underneath a swimsuit or bra. After the cut is made, the nipple that remains tied to its original blood and nerve supply is repositioned. If necessary, the areola is reduced by excising skin. For extremely large pendulous breasts, the nipple and areola may need to be moved and transplanted to an upper position on the breast (free nipple graft). The incisions are brought together to reform the smaller breast. Stitches are layered deep within the breast tissue to create and support the reshaped breasts. Stitches, skin adhesives and/or surgical tape are used to close the skin. Incision lines are permanent, yet in most cases will disappear and significantly improve over time.
Results of Breast Reduction
One can see the results of the breast reduction surgery immediately. Post-surgical inflammation will gradually subside and incision lines will dissolve. The results of reduction mammoplasty are long-lasting. The new breast size should relieve the patient from the pain and physical limitations experienced prior to boob reduction. The new look will enhance self image and boost self-confidence. Breast reduction surgery will make breasts smaller and firmer. The patients will have greater pleasure in playing sports and engaging in physical activities.
The day after the surgery, the patient will be encouraged to walk for a little bit. Couple of days later the patient will be able to move around in confidence. Activities such as straining, bending and lifting must not be done since these activities may cause more swelling or even bleeding. The patient will be recommended to wear a support bra for a few weeks. Usually, sutures will fade in stages over a period of nearly three weeks, beginning about one week after reduction mammoplasty. The patient may feel less sensitivity on the nipple and areola areas that is usual but temporary. After breast reduction surgery, it is usually possible to return to work in just a couple of weeks.
Limitations of Breast Reduction
If one does not gain or lose a substantial amount of weight or become pregnant, breast size will remain fairly constant. Yet, gravity and the effects of ageing will sooner or later change the size and shape of virtually every woman’s breasts. One may choose to undergo breast lift to reshape breasts into more youthful form.

The risks of breast reduction surgery are:

You arrive at the hospital in the morning to meet your doctor in person. The plastic surgeon will explain you the surgery in detail and examine you. You will have an opportunity to discuss the details of your breast reduction surgery with your doctor. If you would like to proceed, you will be asked to pay your remaining balance and sign consent forms. You will then have your tests and checks to confirm your suitability for surgery. The surgery usually lasts for two to three hours. Anaesthesia will ease and you will regain consciousness within an hour after the surgery. Your doctor performs initial check-up and you stay at the hospital on the first night of surgery.
You rest at your hotel on the second day. Your doctor will perform the second check up in the morning before your discharge from the hospital. You will be advised on your medication and you will be provided instructions on the dressing routine and using the medical bra. You will stay in your hotel room and rest as much as possible for the remaining of the day.
You are advised to continue resting in your room on your third day. You should avoid heavy activities but may take a walk or go out for dinner. If you feel well enough, you can also attend city sightseeing tours in order to explore the cultural and historical parts of the city.
You visit the plastic surgeon’s private practice for final check-up, removal of drainage and change of dressing. Your doctor advises you further on medication and the types of activities you can get involved in over the course of your recovery period. You will be ready to go back home after your fourth day in Turkey.
Is it okay to have the breast uplift and reduction at the same time?
Your surgeon may advise you breast uplift procedure depending on the condition of your breasts and you can have both procedures at the same time.
How long do the results last?
Normally, breast reduction surgery results last forever. If the patient gains a significant amount of weight or becomes pregnant, the breast size may increase again.
Will my breast reduction scars ever disappear?
Like other surgical scars, breast reduction surgery scars will not disappear completely. But the scars may fade away so well that they are hardly visible. It also depends on your genetic skin type and sensitivity.
At Longevita, you can receive an identical procedure to that in the UK, with similarly qualified and experienced surgeons at a fraction of the cost, with our cheap breast reduction in Turkey. Our breast reduction surgery will help to decrease the size of your breasts, while making them better shaped and more uplifted, particularly when combined with one of our other procedures such as a breast lift. The surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and can take between one and a half to three hours depending on the size of the breast and the desired result.
