With over 20 years of experience, Dr Nurettin is a highly qualified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in performing cosmetic surgery of the breasts, face, body, and genitals. He has received his board certification from the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (TSPRAS) and has also been a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). He performs his procedures at Yeditepe University Hospital in Istanbul.
Dr Nurettin was born in Manisa, the City of Crown Princes, in Turkey. After finishing his primary and high school there, he moved to Ankara to study medicine at Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA), now known as Gülhane Training and Research Hospital (GEAH).
He then followed his passion for plastic surgery, a field he had been inspired to pursue years earlier when he witnessed his older sister undergo rhinoplasty and saw the transformative impact it had on her self-confidence. After 5 years of residency at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital’s Division of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, he eventually became a member of the TSPRAS.
After working as a plastic surgeon in two military hospitals for a period of over 5 years, Dr Nurettin started private practice in 2017. In particular, his expertise in breast surgery has earned him a joking nickname, “The Lord of the Breasts,” from his friends and colleagues.
Dr Nurettin is also the co-author of several research articles published in renowned journals, including Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery, and the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery. Additionally, he has published extensively on burn injuries, including articles in the Journal of Burn Care & Research, Annals of Burns and Fire Disasters and Burns. He’s also a member of the Turkish Society of Wound Care. Therefore, with Dr Nurettin, you can rest assured that complex cases will be handled with expert care and in the safest possible manner.
Dr Nurretin is a Fenerbahçe supporter and when he isn’t enjoying football, he enjoys reading — both fiction and non-fiction are his cup of tea. As well as that, he loves folk dancing and has even competed internationally in it! As of right now, he resides with his family in Istanbul, where he also has his private practice.
