With a career built on both academic excellence and clinical innovation, Prof. Dr. Yavuz brings extensive expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. After completing his medical education and residency at Gazi University, he progressed to full professorship and added a second speciality in oral & maxillofacial surgery. Today he performs his procedures at Medicana International Hospital, Istanbul, applying his depth of knowledge to deliver personalised and advanced care in non-surgical treatments, body and facial aesthetics, and complex reconstructive procedures.

Prof. Dr. Yavuz's Expertise in Plastic, Reconstruction and Aesthetic Surgery
Prof. Dr. Yavuz was born in İzmir in 1974 and began his medical education at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1991, graduating top of his class in 1997. He went on to complete his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the same institution between 1998 and 2003.
He started his academic career at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 as an assistant professor, achieving associate professorship in 2010 and full professorship in 2015. In 2007 he further broadened his expertise in craniomaxillofacial surgery through advanced training at Baylor College of Medicine in the United States with Dr. Larry Hollier.
In 2012 he was awarded his second speciality in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery following approval from Turkey’s Specialty in Medicine Committee.
Today, Prof. Dr. Yavuz practises in Istanbul, consulting patients and performing surgeries at accredited hospitals. His work spans aesthetic surgery, non-surgical procedures such as Botox, fillers, PRP and thread lifts, as well as reconstructive surgery.
He is an active member of major national and international professional organisations, including the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, the Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the International Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS).
Known for his precision, aesthetic understanding and strong reconstructive background, Prof. Dr. Yavuz offers a comprehensive, patient-focused approach to both cosmetic and functional treatment needs.
